About the role The Accountant/Office Manager will work for Leviton’s subsidiary, International Dock Products (IDP) in Pembroke Park, Florida, in a small office environment. This hands-on role will be responsible for the management of the finance and accounting function and day-to-day office operations, partnering with local leadership and the corporate office in New York. The Accountant/Office Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting administrative processes that enable efficient business operations. Working collaboratively with both local leadership and the corporate accounting team, the Accountant/Office Manager provides reliable financial information and practical operational support to the business. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger and reporting. Review and analyze daily sales activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper recording in the financial system Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and adjustments Reconcile all key balance sheet accounts monthly Review revenue, COGS, and expense accounts for accuracy and completeness Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service providers Implement and improve internal processes and workflows Maintain office systems, supplies, and operational efficiency Administer and optimize QuickBooks (or other accounting systems) Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) Ensure accurate data flow between accounting, payroll, and operations systems Partner with leadership to support strategic decision-making Provide financial insights and operational recommendations Qualifications Strong financial reporting and analytical skills Ability to identify and implement process improvements Strong organizational and operational management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse personalities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required 5+ years of experience in accounting and office/operations management Experience with budgeting & forecasting Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft office suite Experience with payroll processing and inventory management preferred What We Offer Leviton is an EEO/AA Employer.
