About the Role
We’re looking for someone well-versed in Developer Community Engagement to drive our open-source community. This is a high-impact, externally-facing role for someone who genuinely loves the developer community and wants to help it grow around Orkes and Conductor.
This role sits at the intersection of community engagement, developer marketing, and technical content creation. You’ll help developers discover Orkes and aid them in successfully adopting the platform through high-quality technical education, community interaction, and advocacy. You’ll serve as a catalyst for increasing community engagement, fostering meaningful relationships, and creating programs that encourage participation, contribution, and long-term adoption.
This is the perfect role for someone with a background in working with developer communities, a passion for technology, and excitement about helping create agentic transformation for developers and organizations. Ideally, you have a background in technical marketing, developer relations, or developer education and enjoy being externally visible to our community.
What You’ll Do
Community Engagement
- Interacting with developers via various online and in-person communities to drive awareness, engagement and usage of our products
- Answer technical questions, unblock users, and foster an inclusive, knowledgeable, and strong community that developers want to be a part of
- Educate developers on workflow orchestration, agentic workflows, and distributed systems through your content and community programs
- Build real relationships to empower our contributors, advocates, and power users
- Create educational content such as blogs, tutorials, videos, walkthroughs, and learning materials
- End-to-end ownership of webinars, workshops, AMAs, demos, and community events
- Represent Orkes at conferences, meetups, podcasts, and online events
- Bring developer feedback back to Product and Engineering to help improve Orkes
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves

2+ years of impactful experience in engagement with developers for deeply technical products in a community context

A proactive, self-directed person who thrives in any situation and enjoys working alongside developer communities

A strong technical foundation. You’ve written code and understand how developers think, build, troubleshoot, and evaluate new technologies

You’ve created technical educational content in the past such as presentations, written work, videos, demos, and workshops
- You can take something complex and make it click for developers who are seeing it for the first time
- You are a highly resilient person that’s also execution-focused.

Compensation:
$120-150k base plus equity
