The Performance Optimization Specialist performs network performance, monitoring and analysis by collecting and analyzing information, identifying the abnormalities from sources in the domain of the customer solution, diagnosing root causes of performance issues, and recommending improvement for optimization actions i e , QoS Optimization, parameter tuning, SW Upgrades, etc to meet contractual KPI targets They find problems that were not identified during testing In addition to diagnosing network performance issues, the P OS generates daily weekly monthly reports related to technology aspects of the customer solution The specialist performs short term capacity utilization and traffic pattern assessments to evaluate impact on current and future architecture and recommend optimal network strategy for future traffic capacity needs, leveraging automation techniques to reduce analysis time and other optimization related activities that involve repetition
