Job Description
Account Executive (m/f/d) - FactoryPal
Location: Berlin (hybrid)
Ready to shape the future of smart manufacturing?
At FactoryPal, we’re redefining how factories perform—connecting shopfloors through cutting-edge software to improve transparency, efficiency, and decision-making. Our B2B SaaS solution empowers manufacturers to optimize performance and reach new levels of operational excellence.
Backed by Valmet and Körber, FactoryPal combines the energy of a start-up with the reach and credibility of two global leaders in industrial technology. With our headquarters based out of Berlin, we’re scaling a solution that’s already transforming manufacturing operations across the tissue and other sectors.
Your Role & Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving FactoryPal’s commercial expansion across Europe and North America. You’ll focus on the mid-to-late stages of the sales process, engaging medium-sized and large industrial manufacturers in complex, multi-stakeholder, and consultative sales cycles, where understanding operational challenges and co-creating tailored solutions are essential to success.
Beyond closing, you’ll also play a key role in nurturing long-term customer relationships, supporting the expansion and scaling of our footprint within existing accounts alongside Customer Success.
What You’ll Do
Own and manage end-to-end sales processes from first meeting to contract closure.
Engage key decision-makers and influencers across operations, production, and leadership levels, adapting the sales approach to both medium-sized manufacturers and large enterprise organizations.
Present FactoryPal’s value through product demos, ROI cases, and performance benchmarks.
Collaborate closely with SDRs to convert qualified leads into active sales opportunities.
Build and manage a high-quality pipeline in our CRM, updating forecasts and key metrics regularly.
Coordinate technical validation activities with our Engineering and Customer Success teams.
Work with Marketing to tailor messaging and campaigns for your territory.
Participate in key industry events and customer visits to drive awareness of FactoryPal and develop strong stakeholder relationships.
Help improve our sales playbook by sharing customer feedback and learnings from the field.
Develop relationships with potential partners and resellers to support FactoryPal’s global expansion strategy.
Travel to customer factories, approximately 30% of the time, to build proximity and trust during key stages of high-value sales cycles.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
Several years of sales experience including 3+ years of experience in complex B2B sales, preferably with industrial or manufacturing clients.
Having worked in a B2B manufacturing company is a plus.
Proven success managing long-cycle deals and high-ACV enterprise contracts.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially in technical sales settings.
Experience selling into international markets, especially in Europe and/or North America.
Comfortable working with technical buyers and explaining integrations, KPIs like OEE, and analytics tools.
Fluency in English and German is mandatory; French or Italian is a strong plus.
Experience in Tissue, CPG, Pharma or with business SaaS/IIoT/Cloud solutions is a plus.
Experience working with or through channel partners for selected regions is a plus.
Self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a growing startup.
Based out of Berlin.
