Job Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Professional Sales Representative, you will gather information from prospective policyholders, prepare rate quotes and help our customers select the insurance policy that's best for them.
As a Sales Representative, you will:
* Handle inbound calls for sales
* Help customers that come into the office for sales.
* Be an expert on GEICO products and benefits and use that expertise to close sales
* Gather information from prospective policyholders
* Help our customers select the insurance policy that's best for them
* Identify customer's needs and answer all of their questions
* Prepare high-quality rate quotes and close the sale
* Provide solutions that help make it easy for customers to buy a GEICO policy
* Empathize with the customer and overcome objections
* Follow-up with interested or eligible customers who did not buy on their first contact
* Provide guidance on additional product lines that best protect our customers.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will:
* Resolve customer inquiries, explain insurance coverage and make changes to policies
* Handle inbound calls for service
* Help customers that come into the office for service
* Work with the customer to ensure they are properly insured
* Take calls and handle each request to ensure customers are satisfied on the first call
* Sell additional insurance products to fill gaps on our customer's policy
* Navigate our internal computer system to look up customer information and update policies
* Do whatever it takes to delight our customers
Candidate Qualifications:
*Active General Lines Property and Casualty Agent license for Texas preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Prior customer service experience preferred
* Demonstrated job stability
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Bilingual Spanish/English
* Excellent computer and multi-tasking skills
* High level of dependability
* Ability to gather accurate information
* Must be comfortable working in an office environment
