Job Highlights:

This is a full-time, day-shift position working Mon-Fri from 6am-2:30pm. No call requirements.

Job Summary:

Oversees supplies, equipment, and room turnover related to anesthesia and assists with invasive line setup.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists the anesthesia team in a customer-friendly manner with invasive line set up and clean up.
• Turns over operating room anesthesia equipment between cases.
• Contributes to financial outcomes by overseeing the ordering and stocking of appropriate anesthesia supplies to provide safe care for patients.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience

EXPERIENCE

• Two years' experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Constant standing and walking.
• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent reaching and gripping.
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
• Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Occasional use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
• Occasional use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
• Rare crawling, sitting and keyboard use/data entry.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
