Tri Pointe Connect, the mortgage affiliate of Tri Pointe Homes, is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented group in Arizona as a Mortgage Solutions Manager

This is a hybrid position working out of our Operations Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.

 

Job Details

 

Position Summary: The Mortgage Solutions Manager leads a team dedicated to helping prospective homebuyers improve their financial and credit profiles to better position them for mortgage financing

This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day team operations, coaching and development, workflow management, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the credit optimization process

The Manager partners closely with the Mortgage Solutions Specialist (MSS), Loan Officers and leadership teams to drive performance, improve conversion opportunities, and ensure seamless transitions into the loan origination process.

 

Responsibilities:
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Mortgage Solutions Specialists (MSS) focused on credit education, financial readiness, and customer engagement.
• Monitor team performance metrics, productivity, pipeline management, and customer outcomes to ensure service level expectations and business goals are achieved.
• Partner with Loan Consultants/Officers and leadership to ensure alignment on customer strategy, referral management, and communication throughout the mortgage readiness process.
• Oversee the review of customer credit reports and action plans to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness in improving financing opportunities.
• Support the MSS in identifying credit improvement opportunities, dispute strategies, debt management recommendations, and financial positioning solutions.
• Ensure team members provide timely follow-up, ongoing customer support, and proactive communication throughout the action plan lifecycle.
• Maintain visibility into all customer pipelines, including referral tracking, action plan progress, projected completion timelines, and conversion readiness.
• Analyze team and customer performance trends to identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Assist with escalated customer situations and provide resolution support while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to enhance operational efficiency, reporting, and customer experience initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, lending regulations, and applicable credit reporting guidelines.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management activities for Mortgage Solutions Specialists.
• Provide weekly/monthly reporting metrics for all MSS referrals to the Director of Centralized Production.

 

Job Requirements


Qualifications:
• Degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in the mortgage, lending, banking, or financial services industry.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
• NMLS MLO license strongly desired.

 

Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of credit reporting, credit scoring methodologies, and financial improvement strategies.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting credit reports and understanding the impact of credit on mortgage qualification and interest rates
• Knowledge of the mortgage origination process and customer financing lifecycle.
• Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to motivate and coach employees toward performance goals.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Experience with loan origination systems, Encompass a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally across all levels of the organization.
• Advanced reporting skills that can be delivered company wide.

 

Physical Requirements:
• May be sedentary for extended periods, up to 4 hours
• Visual acuity for detailed computer work
• Using fine motor skills for tasks requiring precision such as typing
• Hybrid work environment
• After hours/weekend, as needed
