Active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; Important for these individuals to be familiar with church organization, callings, and vernacular
Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Kiin will run domestic or international background checks, whichever is applicable, using Simpliverified on behalf of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The CRD wants to ensure anyone interacting with youth are safe and legally eligible to do so.
Ability to conduct quality interviews; Strong preference for familiarity or previous work experience in quantitative research
Genuine ability to connect with people
Ability to listen (not talk over interviewees)
Ability to stay focused on the provided questions (not just asking questions in the moment)
Dependability (tight timelines for project, little to no wiggle room for mistakes)
Ability to connect with youth (this is challenging; finesse navigating high power differentials)
Local to the countries in which they’ll be interviewing; intimately familiar with the country and its culture; doesn’t feel like an outsider
