Video Editor (DTC / eCommerce Ads)
Job Description
Every role in our company exists to drive measurable impact.
We are looking for individuals who take ownership, operate with urgency, and think in terms of results. You will be trusted with responsibility and expected to deliver against clear performance metrics.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Video Editor with experience editing for DTC / ecommerce brands who can turn raw footage into high-quality video content that drives engagement, strengthens our brand, and supports marketing growth.
Video is one of our most important growth channels, especially across paid social and digital marketing. Right now, editing work is fragmented and slows down content output. This role exists to bring consistency, speed, and quality to our video production process.
As the Video Editor, you will turn raw recordings into polished video assets ready for distribution across multiple platforms, helping the marketing team ship content faster and at a higher quality.
⚠️ This Role Is NOT for You If:
Your experience is primarily in YouTube or cinematic.
You have not worked with DTC / ecommerce brands or performance-driven content
You prefer developing creative concepts over executing and iterating on performance-driven ad creatives
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Editing assigned video content from raw footage to final deliverable
Exporting video deliverables optimized for different platforms
Managing and organizing editing project files and raw footage
Maintaining consistent editing quality and visual style across all content
This Role Does NOT Include
Content strategy
Script writing
Filming or recording
Channel performance analytics
What we offer / support you’ll receive
We want our editors to have the right tools, setup, and team environment to do their best work. As part of the role, you’ll get access to practical support that helps you create high-performing video ads efficiently:
Tool reimbursement for relevant creative tools such as Adobe, Envato, Storyblocks, and similar platforms
Access to our in-house hosted AI video generation tool
Bonus compensation for creatives that perform especially well
A strong creative team around you, including 30+ video editors, 2 Graphic Designers, Marketing Project Manager for coordination and support, and multiple Creative Strategists to collaborate with
Growth opportunities
As the company grows, top-performing editors have the opportunity to progress into Senior Video Editor positions and, if additional leadership roles are created in the future, potentially Team Lead positions.
You will work alongside a large team of Video Editors, Marketing Project Managers, and Creative Strategists, providing exposure to how high-performing DTC brands operate at scale.
While this role is not intended as a direct pathway into Creative Strategy, we evaluate people based on their capabilities rather than their job title. If someone consistently demonstrates strong creative strategy skills, we are open to exploring opportunities that align with both their strengths and the company's needs.
