What You Bring to the Table
Technical Skills
- Practical experience in glazing, aluminum system assembly, or a related construction/manufacturing trade
- Solid understanding of basic waterproofing methods, including sealants, gaskets, and system sealing practices
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and layout details with accuracy
- Ability to follow detailed assembly processes and manufacturer specifications
- Familiarity with handling and installing glass or similar fragile materials safely
- Strong understanding of quality standards, including alignment, fit, and finish of assembled components

- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
- Works effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet production goals
- Understands system assembly beyond the task level, including how components function together
- Supports the development of junior assemblers

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble aluminum systems using shop drawings and specifications
- Install glass, panels, and infill materials into frames
- Apply sealants, gaskets, and waterproofing components
- Install and adjust hardware (locks, hinges, handles)
- Inspect work for accuracy, alignment, and quality
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and fitment challenges
- Safely handle glass and materials
- Maintain tools and workstations
- Follow safety procedures and production standards
- Support junior team members when needed
