PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect cabinets, doors, and drawer fronts, etc. For defects, dimensional, and handling damage.
Verify cabinet/components match to job order specifications.
Check product surfaces by sight and touch to confirm smoothness, coverage, and durability of product.
Ensure all cabinets are complete, ticketed correctly, and ready for final assembly.
Document inspection findings and tag or separate any defective parts for rework/scrap.
Communicate recurring defects or process issues to leadership in the Ops and QA department for correction.
Maintain accurate inspection records to support quality control reporting.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized inspection station.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in woodworking, cabinet finishing, or quality inspection strongly preferred.
Keen eye for detail with ability to identify even minor finish defects.
Understanding of stains, paints, sealers, topcoats, and sheen levels a plus.
Ability to read and follow job orders and specifications.
Ability to read a tape measure and use it effectively.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and handle cabinet parts (up to 49 lbs).
