Job Description & Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Consulting Sales Led to drive growth of our consulting services in the General Manufacturing sector. This role focuses on developing strategic relationships with manufacturers, identifying transformation opportunities, and leading the sale of consulting solutions across operations, supply chain, digital, and sustainability domains.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Lead the full sales cycle for consulting engagements within the general manufacturing market.
Identify new revenue opportunities across diverse manufacturing segments—industrial goods, automotive, electronics, consumer goods, machinery, and process manufacturing (Metals, Mining, Textiles, Cement etc.)
Build and manage a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and industry engagement.
Develop tailored proposals and RFP responses, positioning our consulting capabilities to address client needs.
Drive deal structuring, pricing, and contract negotiations.
Client Relationship Management
Engage with senior leaders such as CEOs, COOs, Plant Managers, Heads of Operations, and Supply Chain Directors.
Understand client challenges including operational efficiency, cost reduction, quality improvement, supply chain resilience, and digital modernization.
Build long-term, trust-based relationships that lead to repeat projects and strategic partnerships.
Solutioning & Collaboration
Collaborate with consulting delivery teams and manufacturing SMEs to design solutions that address client pain points.
Conduct discovery sessions, plant assessments, and operational diagnostics.
Shape consulting offerings in areas such as:
Operational excellence & performance improvement
Lean manufacturing & continuous improvement
Supply chain planning & optimization
Digital manufacturing / Industry 4.0
Advanced analytics & predictive maintenance
Workforce transformation & capability building
Sustainability, energy management & ESG compliance
ERP/MES, automation, and modernization programs
Mandatory skill sets:
Experience with global consulting firms, industrial solution providers, or technology vendors serving manufacturing clients.
· Understanding of manufacturing systems and technologies (ERP, MES, IoT platforms, automation, analytics).
· Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, supply chain, or operations.
· MBA or relevant advanced degree.
Preferred skill sets:
Experience with global consulting firms, industrial solution providers, or technology vendors serving manufacturing clients.
Understanding of manufacturing systems and technologies (ERP, MES, IoT platforms, automation, analytics).
Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, supply chain, or operations.
MBA or relevant advanced degree.
Years of experience required:
8–12+ years of consulting sales, enterprise sales, or business development experience.
Education qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
