PNC is seeking an experienced creative leader to serve as Senior Manager, Creative Services, Brand Marketing (Associate Creative Director), shaping brand experiences that strengthen reputation, customer connection, and enterprise priorities.
This role provides senior creative direction for high-visibility work across sponsorship marketing, corporate reputation programs, executive storytelling, annual enterprise reports, digital experiences, and priority brand campaigns.
As a key leader within PNC’s in-house agency, the Associate Creative Director will guide concept development, shape cross-functional collaboration, and ensure work is strategically grounded, aligned to brand strategy, and built to perform across channels.
The ideal candidate brings an agency-caliber mindset, strong conceptual and storytelling ability, proven people leadership, and the judgment to balance bold ideas with business, brand, compliance, and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Creative Leadership
· Lead high-visibility creative initiatives that strengthen PNC’s brand, reputation, and business impact.
· Set and communicate a clear creative vision that inspires innovation, elevates quality, and aligns teams around strategic outcomes.
· Present and champion creative recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Brand Stewardship & Sponsorships
· Ensure creative work reflects PNC’s brand standards, strategy, positioning, and customer experience goals.
· Lead creative development for sponsorship activations, experiences, campaigns, partnerships, and integrated marketing efforts.
· Evolve brand expression across channels while maintaining consistency, clarity, and business alignment.
Strategic Partnership & Enterprise Influence
· Serve as a trusted creative advisor to senior marketing leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
· Translate customer insights, business objectives, and brand strategy into compelling creative solutions for cornerstone initiatives.
· Partner with internal teams and external agencies to deliver cohesive work across digital experiences and enterprise marketing programs.
· Influence decisions through strong creative judgment, strategic thinking, and executive-level communication.
· Connect creative strategy to measurable business, brand, and customer outcomes.
People Leadership & Talent Development
· Manage, coach, and develop creative professionals while setting clear expectations and supporting career growth.
· Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
· Strengthen team capability, elevate performance, and build future creative leadership within Creative Services.
AI Innovation & Creative Transformation
· Advance AI-enabled creative capabilities across Marketing and Creative Services.
· Champion responsible adoption of Adobe Firefly and emerging technologies to improve speed-to-market, efficiency, scalability, and creative exploration.
· Establish best practices that balance innovation with brand governance, quality standards, compliance requirements, and responsible AI use.
· Partner across Marketing, Brand, Digital, and Enterprise teams to build future-ready workflows that support growth and operational excellence.
· Mentor creative teams on effective AI tool use while preserving strategic thinking, craft, and storytelling standards.
Creative Operations & Delivery Excellence
· Oversee creative projects from concept through execution, ensuring work meets quality, accessibility, and brand standards.
· Manage multiple priorities and workstreams within a fast-paced in-house agency environment.
· Optimize processes, workflows, and resource planning to improve delivery and team effectiveness.
· Balance creative excellence with business priorities, timelines, budgets, and operational realities.
Qualifications & Experience
· 8+ years of experience in brand marketing, creative direction, or integrated campaign development within an agency, in-house agency, or enterprise marketing environment.
· Proven ability to lead concept development, brand storytelling, and multi-channel work from strategy through execution.
· Strong understanding of brand systems, sponsorship marketing, digital experiences, accessibility standards, and integrated marketing practices.
· Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and guiding creative talent in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to influence senior stakeholders, present creative recommendations clearly, and build alignment across creative and non-creative audiences.
· Experience applying emerging creative technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve exploration, efficiency, and delivery while maintaining quality and brand governance.

Job Description
- Responsible for helping to set creative vision to align with strategic priorities, as well as visually determining look and feel for creative executions. Provide direction and leadership to graphic designers. Leads project teams in presentation of creative ideas.
- Partners with creative director to help establish creative vision to align with strategic priorities for all lines of business.
- Leads team to translate desired business outcomes into strategy and executes graphic design ideas from concept and design through execution that supports PNC business objectives. Directs and leads multi-functional program teams.
- Leads collaboration with Copywriter, Designers, Marketing Specialists, Proofreader and other internal partners on a regular basis to ensure understanding of scope, need and strategy.
- Responsible for performance management, coaching and development of direct reports.

Base Salary: $50,000.00 – $223,080.00Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.Application Window
