Asset Liability Management Trading Specialist Why Join As an Asset Liability Management Trading Specialist at OCBC, you'll play a critical role in managing the bank's balance sheet and driving business growth. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to develop and implement trading strategies that optimize returns while minimizing risk. It's a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of analytical skills, market knowledge, and business acumen. How you succeed To succeed in this role, you'll need to stay ahead of the curve in terms of market trends and regulatory requirements. You'll work closely with the Asset Liability Management team to develop and implement trading strategies that align with the bank's overall business objectives. You'll also need to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including risk management and treasury teams, to ensure that trading activities are properly risk-managed and aligned with the bank's overall risk appetite. What you do Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing trading strategies to optimize returns and minimize risk - Analyzing market trends and regulatory requirements to identify opportunities and risks - Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, including risk management and treasury teams - Collaborating with the Asset Liability Management team to develop and implement balance sheet management strategies - Monitoring and reporting on trading performance and risk metrics Who you are - A degree in finance, economics, or a related field - At least 5 years of experience in trading or asset liability management - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders - Strong knowledge of financial markets and instruments, including fixed income, currencies, and commodities - Proficient in trading systems and risk management tools Who we are As Singapore's longest established bank, we have been dedicated to enabling individuals and businesses to achieve their aspirations since 1932.
