Compensation:
70,000 - 80,000

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will require the RN to travel to our patients' home to complete supervisory visits when needed with our clients receiving personal care assistance. The RN will ensure that client records are in compliance in accordance with state regulations.
A company car and fuel will be provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring and supervising the care of those members receiving homecare services.
- Reviewing referrals, evaluating the member’s skilled needs during initial and subsequent visits, and identifying and assigning the appropriate staff to provide the member care needed.
- Developing and revising the member care plan as appropriate and reviewing the content of member care plans during each supervisory visit and communicating all revisions to appropriate staff.
- Supervising personal care support personnel.
- Completing supervisory assessments to include observations of each Personal Care Support caregiver or LPN providing care to the member.
- Arranging orientation of each Personal Care Support personnel or LPN to each member for which they are providing care.
- Completing the monthly supervisory assessment.
- Supervisory visits are not billable through Medicaid.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A current Georgia RN license to practice nursing and render services in accordance with the provisions of the Georgia Registered Professional Nurse
- Experience working with medically fragile patients and experience in home health is preferred.
- Knowledge of current methods of home management, the provision of skilled nursing/PSS care, the ability to supervise and coordinate the work of others, to evaluate situations and make decisions, and to communicate and deal effectively with others.
- Working knowledge of Rules and Regulations for Private Home Care Providers Chapter 290-5-54.
- Working knowledge of the policies and procedures of ICWP, CCSP, SOURCE, GAPP.
