The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Project Leadership with demonstrated Biopharmaceutical and CRO experience to drive operational excellence across a dynamic portfolio of studies. This strategic role combines hands-on project oversight, ensuring we deliver for our customers, maintain the highest quality standards, and execute with excellence.
Within our high-performing culture you will ensure we deliver exceptional clinical service and serve as a strategic advisor in delivering service to clients.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead project delivery and hold teams accountable to milestones and deliverables
- Own profitability, margin expansion, and cash flow targets across your portfolio
- Drive operational data compliance, analytics, and process improvements
- Participate in risk and quality governance across the portfolio
- Build cross-functional partnerships and foster direct, purposeful communication
- Develop talent, manage performance, lead by example
- Lead or support department and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives
- Manage account-level oversight and P&L responsibility as applicable
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 15+ years of project leadership experience in BioPharma or CRO
- Proven track record leading high-performing teams in a global, matrix environment
- Experience managing complex clinical trial portfolios across multiple phases
- Strong business and financial acumen
Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional communication and executive-level influence skills
- Superior problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to demonstrate value creation in a global matrix environment
- Solution-oriented mindset with proven ability to deliver on client commitments
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (science/medical field preferred)
- Advanced degree desirable
