Warehouse Forklift Operator

Job Description:

Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment for CROWN Packaging Manufacturing Italy S.r.l.

Responsibilities:**

* Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, pallet jack) in a safe and efficient manner.
* Load, unload, and stack materials onto and from trucks, racks, and other storage areas.
* Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse.
* Perform routine pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
* Assist with inventory management, including counting, scanning, and organizing products.
* Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.

Qualifications:**

* Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
* Valid forklift operator certification/license.
* Ability to operate different types of forklifts.
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
