About the Business Unit   

Global Delivery Services Centre (GDSC) is a high-impact business unit within Mott MacDonald, dedicated to enhancing project delivery across our global operations.

As part of GDSC in India, you will be working alongside Mott MacDonald international colleagues delivering ambitious projects across a broad range of building types includingcommercial, residential, retail and offices, education, healthcare, airports, data center, hotels, sports and events venues, Theme parks, Airport and Metro stations. Under this sector, our services span the whole asset cycle from advisory to consulting, through design and delivery, to asset management. With deep understanding of all phases of the building lifecycle, it enables us to give our clients the best-informed engineering and innovative solutions.    

Role 

We are looking for a PHE BIM Engineer / Modeller to manage projects for global markets. 

Key Deliverables: 

  • Be in charge for planning and design of all building services elements of the PHE/FF discipline. 

  • Be in charge for concept ,schematic & Detailed design based on evaluation for various options in coordination with architectural, structural input and in accordance with initial load/Demand estimates. 

  • Design Calculation knowledge based on CIBSE G,BS stds., IOP, IPC,UPC SBC ,Middle East stds  

  • Knowledge on ANZ Region & AS Stds is added advantage to work on Australian/Singapore/NZ Region projects 

  • Ensure all design work is carried out in accordance with Company’s quality standard procedures. 

  • Ensure checking of all design output and seamless coordination between other sections/disciplines. 

  • Ensure the completeness of design deliverables within time limits 

  • Knowledge on Digital Automation of PH/FF services [through Dynamo Scripting/Python Programming] is added advantage 

  • Effective task management for design engineers and CAD Technicians 

  • Share knowledge and experience to coach and develop junior staffs. 

  • Handle a team of Modellers independently with minimal supervision. 

Key Capabilities: 

  • Candidate should be B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Civil - Environment /Public Health Engineering discipline. 

  • Have 6 to10 years of experience in Public Health Engineering design and knowledge on inter-disciplines. 

  • Have experience in Residential ,Commercial (Hotels/Retail/Shopping Malls ), Mixed-use buildings, Theme park ,Sports stadium , Health care, Transport- Airports/metro projects etc., 

  • Have experience in design of internal/external water supply, sewerage and drainage ( storm water and surface water), 

  • Be well versed in reviewing and checking of drawings and calculations. 

  • Familiarity with local authority codes and regulations such as of local Municipality, water authority, drainage and sewerage department, environmental authority etc., of countries in which the candidate has job experience. 

  • Good knowledge of relevant international codes and regulations  

  • Knowledge in sustainable, green building design practices and rating guidelines is added advantage & not mandatory 

  • Handle design independently and lead a team of technicians/modellers. 

  • Have good oral and written communication skills and liaise with clients directly. 

  • Experience in relevant design software such as Auto CAD, REVIT, Navisworks ,BIM 360/ACC Workflows and IT Literacy 

  • Knowledge on AECOsim/Open building Bentley software is added advantage & not mandatory 

  • Mott MacDonald is a leader in the adoption of BIM and therefore the use of Auto desk REVIT /Bentley AECOsim would be highly regarded.
