Job Summary: The Episodic Support Specialist provides administrative and technical support to assist in the operation and sustainment of the Assessment and Analytics program. This role supports Government and contractor personnel by resolving system issues, assisting users, and performing quality control on data and system records during designated events or support periods.
The Support Specialist focuses on user assistance, system maintenance, and data accuracy, ensuring the software systems function reliably and efficiently in both garrison and field environments.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide help desk and user support for the program and associated hardware and software
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Support users via phone, email, or in-person during episodic support periods
- Perform routine system maintenance, including software updates, backups, and basic security checks
- Assist with installation, configuration, and testing of hardware and software
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN) as required
- Perform quality control (QC) checks on datasets and historical records to ensure accuracy
- Document issues, resolutions, and system changes for tracking and follow-up
- Assist with cataloging and notating changes to datasets for supplemental analysis
- Support on-site and off-site technical and administrative activities as directed
- Maintain compliance with security, access, and data protection requirements
- Uphold professional standards of conduct and accountability throughout all support activities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 5 years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree in a technology-related field with 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience providing technical or help desk support in a professional environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to support multiple users and prioritize competing requests
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain clearance
- Ability to travel episodically to Government-designated locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting military or government technical systems
- Familiarity with data quality control or record management activities
- Experience supporting field-deployed systems or mobile devices
- Experience operating in secure or restricted environments
