Position Summary...
Role summary:As an Associate Merchant, you will support category management through supplier negotiations, purchase order administration, and resolution of supplier issues. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience by ensuring accurate product content and effective communication programs. You will leverage data analysis to inform category performance and assist in budgeting and forecasting. Additionally, you will contribute to the execution of promotional strategies and modular assortment planning, driving business results while maintaining compliance with company policies and fostering strong vendor relationships to support organizational goals.

What you'll do...
- Provide administrative support for supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders within assigned categories.
- Assist merchants in resolving supplier issues and facilitate the setup of new suppliers for stores and online channels.
- Execute customer communication and education programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor category performance through data analysis and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Develop and implement feature proposals and modular assortment strategies across channels.
- Support item setup, pricing recommendations, and sample management processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal partners to drive business results.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations to support category objectives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data analysis tools for performance tracking and reporting.
- Knowledge of category strategy development and execution, including budgeting and forecasting support.
- Ability to manage item setup, pricing recommendations, and modular assortment implementation.
- Effective collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with merchants, planners, and suppliers.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity, compliance, and ethical business practices.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and driving continuous improvement in business processes.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
