We strive to provide what matters to you personally with the ability to choose and modify programs to suit your lifestyle Overview As a Planning Supervisor at Zenith, you will lead the development of media strategies and plans for a luxury brand, with a strong focus on Print and Out-of-Home. You will ensure every recommendation reflects luxury standards—premium context, brand adjacency, craft, and attention to detail—while delivering on client objectives and business outcomes. You will support an American-based client and partner cross-functionally with US stakeholders; success in this role requires strong Canadian market knowledge, clear point-of-view planning, and the presence to ensure our recommendations are heard and adopted. You will manage and mentor junior team members, overseeing quality and timeliness of all planning deliverables. Working closely with your Director, you will help shape and sell through Zenith and Publicis Media solutions, delivering a white-glove client experience across planning, presentation, and execution. Responsibilities Act as the day-to-day planning lead and key client contact for assigned luxury brands; maintain a high-touch, luxury-appropriate service standard Lead development of Print and OOH strategies (including premium placements, partnerships, and contextual recommendations aligned to brand image) Translate brand and campaign objectives into clear media strategies, channel roles, and communications frameworks Apply audience insights and market intelligence to inform planning—balancing data with luxury brand intuition and context Evaluate media alternatives and recommend budget allocation across Print and OOH Develop and present client-ready media plans, including rationale, phasing, investment levels, and measurement approach Ensure excellence in executional detail, including (as applicable): OOH unit selection, location rationale, format considerations, and vendor coordination Print title selection, positioning/adjacency considerations, and flighting recommendations Oversee plan quality control (accuracy, clarity, and consistency), ensuring decks and outputs meet Zenith standards Mentor Strategy Assistants; provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and support professional development Coordinate with partners (publishers, OOH vendors, specialist teams, and global counterparts) to keep workflows efficient and aligned Partner cross-functionally with US-based stakeholders and teams to align on objectives, timing, and deliverables; proactively communicate updates, risks, and recommendations. Bring a clear, confident point of view in discussions—able to influence outcomes and represent the agency recommendation with executive-ready communication. Oversee financial process and stewardship: budget tracking, pacing, and billing accuracy; manage discrepancies against deadlines Partner with the Manager to identify growth opportunities for the client (premium innovation, partnerships, and Publicis Media offerings) and support sell-through Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Advertising, Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred) 3+ years of experience in media planning; hands-on OOH and Print planning experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of luxury communications principles: premium context, brand equity protection, and elevated presentation standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including building persuasive narratives and presenting to senior stakeholders Strong analytical and quantitative skills (budgeting, reporting, and performance interpretation) High attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with consistent quality Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with media research tools is an asset Experience with premium OOH vendors and luxury print publishers is an asset. Strong knowledge of the Canadian media landscape (with emphasis on premium OOH and print ecosystems) Executive presence and strong influencing skills—able to clearly articulate POVs, challenge when needed, and ensure our voice is represented in cross-functional forums. Additional information Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $70,000-$75,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
