Summary:
As an Inventory Mitigation Specialist, you will play a key role in managing our inventory impact through sales request and movement. You will also work with other team members to improve our supply chain operations and meet our goals. To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience and attention to detail in inventory management, logic and product knowledge.
What You’ll Do:
Review, approve and/or manage inventory request through internal platforms.
Work with sales management to ensure inventory requests translate into sales.
Work with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs and identify potential stock issues.
Manage inventory aging and coordinate proper rotation or disposal of obsolete inventory.
Coordinate physical inventory audits as needed with operations inventory team.
Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize procurement and transportation processes in accordance with sales needs.
Develop and implement SOPs for inventory management and continuously improve inventory operations in relation to sales.
Review and analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
About You:
Experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
Minimum of two years of experience in inventory management in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Experience working with an ERP system, inventory management software, or similar tools.
Knowledge of inventory principles, concepts, and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
Experience with inventory control, forecasting, and analysis preferred.
Excel experience.
