Director, NERC Compliance

The Director of NERC Compliance leads SPP’s enterprise-wide strategy and governance framework for compliance with applicable NERC Reliability Standards and regional requirements. This role provides leadership over the development, implementation, communication, and continuous improvement of reliability standards and compliance programs across the organization. The position ensures audit readiness, sustainable compliance practices, and proactive risk mitigation to support Bulk Electric System (BES) reliability and security. The Director partners closely with operations, engineering, cybersecurity, legal, and executive leadership while serving as a key liaison with NERC, Regional Entities, industry groups, and regulatory bodies.
