Key Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence and functional recovery
Provide evidence-based interventions focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, safety, and quality of life
Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal outcomes
Participate in care planning meetings, utilization reviews, and discharge planning discussions
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
Educate residents, caregivers, and family members on treatment strategies, home safety, and adaptive equipment recommendations
Support successful transitions home through comprehensive caregiver training and discharge planning

Qualifications
Current and active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care
Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
