How you create impact
- Own and manage the end-to-end commercial relationship for assigned global automotive accounts, driving growth and customer retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
- Understand customer business models, decision-making processes, and competitive environments to identify new opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer objectives and company goals.
- Identify, develop, and convert business opportunities across Kuehne+Nagel’s full logistics service portfolio.
- Lead commercial negotiations, including rates and service agreements, while ensuring proper internal alignment and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with business units, pricing, and operational teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
- Monitor pipeline performance, financial results, and key commercial KPIs, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure seamless handover of new business opportunities to operations and maintain alignment between commercial commitments and service delivery.
- Conduct regular business reviews focused on performance, continuous improvement, and innovation.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within CRM and sales management systems.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Sales within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain environments.
- Strong understanding of global supply chain solutions, including Air Freight, Sea Freight, Road Logistics, and Contract Logistics.
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling, contract negotiations, and business growth.
- Experience managing multinational customers and working within a matrix organization.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to transform customer insights into actionable commercial strategies.
- Experience within the automotive industry is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required.
