Job Description
Position Summary :
Design and deliver efficient hydraulic solutions for machine systems, including concept development, detailed design, and cross-functional integration to support business requirements.Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting, cost optimization, and standardization while supporting field operations, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Hydraulic solutions: Understand machine requirements & provide efficient hydraulic solutions to grow business with specific timeline. Prepare 3D parts drawings, layouts, Bill of material, machine specifications, hydraulic schematics, etc.
Collaboration: Work with mechanical, electrical, software, product management & intercompany cross functions to integrate solutions.
knowledge of machine structures and parts, hydraulic schematic, operating sequence.
Purchase support to find alternate make or solutions against existing system.
Perform concept development, detailed design, calculations for hydraulics.
Spares/Replacement Solution:
Find out alternate make of obsolete parts & phased out machine series.
Prepare and review engineering drawings, BOMs, Q-tables, technical specifications, and design documents.
Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Estimating material cost and engineering time for special technical requirements.
Troubleshooting support:
Quick technical support to field while machines under breakdown.
Act as Subject matter expert (SME) for hydraulics.
Need to assist field engineers in case of trouble shooting.
Remote support to filed to execute kits in field provided by engineering team.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for complex field issues, quality concerns, and performance gaps.
Usage of AI: Find out ways to deliver project on time with usage of AI
Advance Excel, python basic knowledge will be added advantage
Compliance: Ensure all applicable design standards & practices. ISO, ANSI, CE, NR12 safety standards knowledge will be added advantage.
Standardization & Continuous Improvement:
Drive activities for modular design, components, and design practices.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, weight optimization, and manufacturability improvement
Maintain design documentation and change management records.
Preferred Degree:
BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
