Job Description
- operating all equipment in the department including combo lifts, cabbage shredder, flume systems, and dicer
- assembling and disassembling equipment
- practicing strict sanitation and GMP practices to insure food safe products are being manufactured
- gathering, prepping, and weighing ingredients
- tracking inventory of fresh ingredients
- calculating daily vegetable production needs
- maintaining run sheets for cost accounting
- track inventory of fresh ingredients
- documenting environmental concerns for QA and USDA
- maintaining accurate documentation for quality, production and sanitation
- providing timely and accurate communication to the salad production areas concerning production needs
- monitoring Tsunami concentrations and temperatures for the Flume System
- gathering samples for Quality Control
- manually trimming fresh vegetables
- must be able to work in other areas as needed/requested
- other duties as assigned.
