Consumer Category Manager

Job Summary
This role will be responsible for a set of Consumer products across our Latin America (LATAM) region. The person will define the regional business plans and growth strategies for the Consumer PC category. The role owns the end-to-end category strategy across the four P's — Product, Price, Promotion, and Place — and collaborates with sales teams and ecosystem partners to ensure seamless execution of category plans while monitoring KPIs and sales performance. The role demonstrates a deep understanding of product categories and acts as a senior expert in providing directions and guidance for process improvements and establishing policies.
Responsibilities
• Leads overall engagement with multiple country sales teams across LATAM with limited oversight from the manager, in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
• Defines and actively drives the regional category business plan and strategies across the four P's (product, price, promotion, and place) to drive growth and profitability.
• Collaborates with various internal teams from marketing, sales, and finance across the region to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
• Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales performance at a regional level to identify areas for improvement and develops action plans accordingly.
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of product categories, business management, and sales challenges and strategies.
• Gathers and analyzes customer and market feedback across LATAM to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points, and translates insights into actionable improvements.
• Builds relationships and represents the team at a senior level with the sales force, channel and retail partners, and the broader technology ecosystem.
• Leads co-marketing and joint go-to-market engagements with strategic ecosystem partners, including silicon and operating system providers.
• Holds responsibility for product line and quota management for a significant share of the regional product range or a specific customer segment.
• Oversees functional responsibilities in one or several areas such as market analysis, marketing engagement, pricing architecture, and supply allocation.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10-15 years of work experience, preferably in category management, P&L management, go-to-market, or a related field.
• Proven experience operating across Latin American (LATAM) markets.
• Demonstrated experience managing the full marketing mix / four P's (product, price, promotion, and place).
• Experience building and managing relationships with strategic partners and the broader technology ecosystem (silicon, operating system, and retail/channel partners).
English proficiency required (regional role with cross-country and global stakeholder interaction).
