
LVA Customer Solutions - Documentation Control Engineer
Job Description
What you’ll do:
- Provide all the required technical engineering documentation in terms of compliance statements, Deviation and exception documents, technical submittals, and provide responses on Project PQQ (Pre-qualification questionnaires)
- Working within a project business environment with many different stakeholders, liaising and managing multiple requests
- Work closely with our customer solutions architect’s business development managers and commercial organizations.
- A knowledge of Low voltage switchgear assemblies, associated components, design principles and applicable codes relative to the geographical location of the projects is an advantage but not essential
- Activities inclusive of, but not exhaustive of:
- Complete CDE (compliance, deviation, and exception) project documentation for LV.
- Complete Pre-qualification questionnaire in relation to LV
- Complete Total cost of ownership information related with LV and gather information from relevant parties in the BU
- Complete Technical submittal documentation related to LV on projects
- Complete project document control and own the library of associated documents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of engineering degree
- Min 3 years of experience in a similar position
Skills:
- Deep knowledge of project processes
- IT literate essential with PDF, excel and word
- Low voltage application knowledge and understanding an advantage but not essential
- Familiar with electrical design tools and software
- Fluent speaking and writing in English
- Good communicator and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and takes ownership on results
- Works well within a fast-paced environment
