Job Description
The Staff Accountant – Fixed Assets and Leases is a professional position with tasks related to accounting for the company's fixed assets, construction in progress, and leases. Responsibilities include journal entries, analysis and research, preparation of reports and schedules, budgeting, and special projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Prepare monthly journal entries
Analysis of capital expenditure and expense trends & budget to actual variances
Assist in budgeting and forecasting of capital expenditures and expenses
Prepare various financial reports, schedules, and analyses
Special projects
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Bachelor s degree in accounting
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Proficient with spreadsheet and word processing software
Ability to work with limited supervision
Accuracy
