How this role transforms workplaces:

  • Responds to client employee and internal inquiries within established service level standards, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional resolution of cases.
  • Answers client employee inbound calls and emails in seeking to resolve employee questions and elevates concerns to cross-functional team members as appropriate. 
  • Effectively prioritizes and manages a high volume of inquiries and tasks to meet deadlines and client service expectations.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, including resetting PRISM passwords, ESS portal support, backend HRIS support, printing paystubs, answering basic garnishment questions, support for W2 or 1095C questions, processing address changes, and additional responsibilities or ad-hoc requests related to the role.
  • Creates high-quality and customized client job postings and posts to various recruiting sites. Assists with the full job posting lifecycle, including billing, making edits, and re-posting roles when needed.
  • Prepares offer letters and conducts pre-employment checks (references, background, MVR, credit & education checks) for clients. Launches onboarding module within Prism for new hires and responds to questions regarding electronic onboarding, including technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Conducts in-person and virtual new hire & benefits orientations for designated accounts.
  • Conducts benefit administrative work, to include:
  • Manages unemployment claims for designated client accounts by responding to state agency requests, coordinating with clients and HRBPs, and preparing documentation and correspondence in support of unemployment hearings.
  • Supports client exit interview processes by coordinating survey outreach to former employees and disseminating collected information to clients.
  • Maintains constant and continuous communication flow with HRBPs, payroll, benefits, and leadership on client service activities.
    • COBRA - preparing and mailing COBRA notifications and FSA continuation notices.
    • Ongoing Employee Benefit Support - assisting with employee status changes, responding to Medical Support Orders, acting as proxy for enrollment when necessary, and responding to benefit verification requests, benefit-related questions, requests for temporary ID’s, and basic 401(k) inquiries.

Who you’ll work with:

Employee Experience Team Members, Internal HR teams, client employees and managers, State Departments.

Required experience and skills:

  • One to two years of Human Resources experience, or degree or coursework in HR plus customer service experience.
  • Commitment to advancing racial equity, diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in the workplace.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Job requires administrative and computer skills.  Must be adept at using various applications including Microsoft Suite tools, spreadsheets, project management tools, graphics, word processing, basic presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail, and use calendar and other scheduling software.  
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • High attention to detail with accuracy in data entry, documentation, and follow-through.
  • Customer-service mindset with the ability to problem-solve and build positive relationships with employees and clients.

Preferred skills:

  • Spanish fluency preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and support bilingual employees.

Total compensation and salary range:

Xenium HR is committed to providing a competitive compensation package. The starting salary for this role ranges from $22.50-25.50/hour based on skills/knowledge, years of experience, and ensuring pay equity within the organization. The hiring team will share more details regarding compensation based on your experience and location during the interview process.
