Job Description
Responsible for putting parts together to produce a scissor using tools, machines, and their hands.
Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following company and OSHA safety rules and regulations, understanding machine safeguards, recognizing and reporting safety hazards, and wearing required PPE.
Perform various types of light assembly or other manual tasks by hand per verbal work instructions to produce quality parts while maintaining productivity standards.
Inspect product for quality using visual inspections.
Inform supervision of any production or quality problems.
Maintain minimum standard rate.
Report accurate count of production parts, scrap, and labor hours by completing require paperwork.
Keep work area in clean and orderly condition, complying with established 6S standards.
Cross-train by rotating to different machines and work areas as required.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma (GED) is preferred. Must be familiar with OSHA regulations and have the ability to work well with others.
Physical Demand Requirements
Sitting, standing, walking up to 10 hours per day (can rotate), bending/twisting neck up to 2 hours per day (interruptive), bending/twisting waist up to 2 hours per day (interruptive), hand movement, up to 10 hours per day (repetitive), arm movement up to 10 hours per day (repetitive), pushing/pulling weight (assisted), up to 2 hours per day (interruptive), and lifting weight, up to 45 lbs, up to 2 hours per day (interruptive).
Pay Range: $15-$17 per hour
