
Assembly Operative - Twilight Shift
Job Description
What you’ll do:
Assemble, Inspect, Pack, Test and Audit electrical switch gear to manufacturing requirements whilst achieving Quality and Productivity targets. Align to the specific Skill Band criteria for role.
- Ensure tasks and output are to acceptable standards in accordance with the company policy and procedures.
- Undertake product auditing throughout general assembly. (Skill Band 2>)
- Demonstrate an awareness of orders and dates to meet delivery times and customer requirements
- Demonstrate initiative and flexibility to ensure smooth and efficient running of department.
- Observe and adopt safe working practices in accordance with Company health and safety policy and all relevant health and safety legislation; i.e. HASAWA 1974 etc
- Achieve MTM & SPC targets where appliciable
- Undertake training necessary for development as agreed with Supervisors/Team Leader
- Communicate problems affecting role or responsibilities to Supervisors/Team Leader.
- Ensure workarea is to clean & tidy at all times adhere to 5s+ standards
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed.
