Mechanical Supervisor / Service Technician - Location Saudi Arabia

To strengthen our technical execution team, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor / Service Technician with strong installation, commissioning, and service capabilities for Food and/or Polyolefine (PE/PP) bulk material handling systems. Candidates may come from a mechanical or mechatronics background. This position offers the opportunity to take responsibility on international installation sites and ensure high-quality commissioning and service performance for our customers.

We are seeking a Mechanical Supervisor / Service Technician for our location in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, at the earliest possible date.

Key Responsibilities
Installation & Supervision

• Supervising and coordinating mechanical and mechatronic installation works for Food and/or Polyolefine (PE/PP) bulk material handling systems
• Leading and guiding installation teams and subcontractors on site
• Ensuring installation quality, adherence to technical specifications, and compliance with safety standards
• Performing mechanical assembly, alignment, testing, and commissioning of machinery and systems
   

Service & Maintenance

• Conducting service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities at customer sites

• Diagnosing mechanical and mechatronic issues during installation, commissioning, and after start-up

• Supporting customers with preventive maintenance and system optimization

• Providing on-site and coordinating remote service support when required
   

Documentation & Customer Support

• Preparing installation reports, service documentation, and handover protocols

• Supporting project managers with progress updates, risk identification, and technical feedback

• Training customer personnel on operation and maintenance of installed equipment

• Ensuring compliance with hygiene and food industry standards during all installation and service work

Requirements and Expected Profile

• Completed technical education in Mechanics, Mechatronics or a related field

• Several years of experience in industrial plant installation and/or technical service, ideally in food bulk material handling

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, pneumatics, and basic electrical interfaces

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs and installation layouts

• Hands-on mentality with strong problem-solving skills

• Experience supervising small teams or subcontractors

• High level of responsibility, reliability, and structured working style

• Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset

• Willingness to travel in Arabia (GCC Countries) and work on installation and service sites

• Good English skills; additional languages are an advantage
