The Infrastructure Systems Manager understands Company and Business Technology (BT) strategies, needs, and priorities to coach, mentor and produce results that meet the business needs. This role will drive business value and manage all activities related to performance coaching, leadership, and planning under company and department policies and procedures. This role assumes primary ownership of the Systems infrastructure and related systems. They will work with other Business Technology Managers and Supervisors to ensure these environments meet the departmental and company needs. They will manage, lead, and mentor assigned direct reports to grow and meet the company's needs. Attention to detail, organization, communication, and self-initiative are vital skills for this role.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor degree preferred
Experience: 10 years or more in business technology role, prior business technology management experience preferred
or
Any appropriate combination of education and experience as determined by management.
Travel: 15%
Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides clarity on company strategy and manages the Business Technology strategy to meet company objectives.
- Recruits, retains, supports career development, manages performance, and builds team.
- Contributes to developing and continuously improving Business Technology-related processes and procedures.
- Analyzes Infrastructure system usage and processes to determine how to optimize return on investment, improve information technology systems, and foster business growth.
- Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with business owners, department leads, vendors, key customers, and the Business Technology Team.
- Interacts with all organization members and coordinates activities with other departmental leaders to deliver services supporting business needs.
- Participates in vendor relationships, including negotiations, problem resolution, system design, configuration, and ongoing improvement of infrastructure systems.
- Owns all FTI Systems-related infrastructure, primarily.
- Implements and maintains the system deployment of assets to meet the business and business technology needs.
- Owns Disaster Recovery and Backup procedures.
- Ensures Infrastructure system uptime requirements and service level agreements meet business needs.
- Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
