Gauge and Calibration Tech 1st shift (5:00an-1:30pm)

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the control, calibration and repair of all measurement tools and instruments within the company. In addition, this position also is responsible for the scheduling, data input, traceability and history into a specialized software recall system of the records for all measuring tools. Works directly with purchasing to schedule approved outside sources for calibration and repair where applicable. Further, this position is responsible for the internal calibration of special process equipment (i.e. heat treat furnaces and controls and processing equipment and control) and organizes and schedules outside sources of special process (specification required) calibrations.
