We’re Looking For:
Degrees/Experience/Skills:
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years clerical experience in a health care setting
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle difficult calls and maintain professional conduct • Good communication skills
What You’ll Do:
Schedule: Full time Monday-Friday 0800-1630
- Coordinates Medicare-related communication by delivering and documenting Important Message (IM) and Code 44 letters, obtaining required signatures, and supporting appeals processes. Monitors voicemails and ensures timely follow-up.
- Supports discharge planning by coordinating with vendors, identifying appropriate post-care services (e.g., home health, nursing facilities, hospice), verifying benefits, and communicating updates to care teams.
- Maintains department operations by updating discharge-related systems, compiling reports and statistics, managing supplies, and providing clerical support such as meeting minutes and general administrative tasks.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
- Must operate all equipment necessary to perform the duties of the job.
- Must be able to continuously use a keyboard.
- Must have functional speech, vision, and hearing.
- Must be able to concentrate on minute detail with frequent interruptions.
