We are now looking for a Method Engineer to join our team in Eskilstuna, a role where hands-on machine understanding meets AI, data analytics, digitalization and future ways of working. At Volvo CE, you will have the opportunity to make real impact. You will work close to production while helping develop future-ready methods, processes and digital solutions together with engaged colleagues and global teams.
About the role
You will drive and develop methods within your area and contribute to improvements in safety, quality and efficiency. The role combines operational work with long-term development and suits someone who enjoys collaboration, continuous improvement and bringing structure to complex environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- developing and improving methods for aftermarket
participating in product changes and industrialization projects
driving continuous improvement and standardization initiatives
collaborating cross-functionally with production and product development
contributing to initiatives within AI, predictive maintenance and digitalization
supporting competence development and future ways of working within the aftermarket methods area - represent aftermarket perspectives in the product development
We believe you:
• have an engineering degree or equivalent experience
• have strong machine understanding and preferably hands-on experience from industry, service or maintenance
• are curious about new technology and digital development
• enjoy collaboration and driving improvements together with others
• communicate fluently in English. Swedish language skill is a plus.
Experience or interest in AI, data analytics, VR/AR or digital engineering tools is considered a strong advantage.
