We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Straid Vets on a part-time basis.
Straid Veterinary Clinic is a warm and welcoming community practice in Beaconsfield, offering over 100 years of trusted care to local pets and their owners. We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive team, whether full time or part time, and become part of a friendly clinic that values teamwork, flexibility and genuine connections with clients.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
This position is part-time, covering 24-hours per week. Our rota systems aims to provide a good work/life balance for staff and we are flexible with allowing staff to swap shifts to accommodate any personal commitments they may have. We work Monday - Friday inclusive (with a mix of early shifts 8-4 for 3 weeks and late shifts 12.30-7 for 1 week), there is also 1:4 Saturday mornings 8-12. Part time shifts will differ from this rota pattern. We are also flexible with the rota to accommodate staff holiday and make sure we all look out for each other.

* Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
* Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
* A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
