How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Clinical Testing & Care: Perform comprehensive vision screenings, diagnostic ophthalmic testing, and routine patient care under direct physician supervision.
  • Surgical & Room Prep: Sterilize specialized instruments, prepare examination rooms, and assist the Ophthalmologist during minor in-office surgical procedures.
  • Patient Education & Dispensing: Train patients on sanitary contact lens handling while managing the precise verification and dispensing of corrective lenses.
  • Clinic Operations: Streamline daily patient flow by accurately managing medical records, optimizing appointment schedules, and maintaining critical medical inventory.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • CNA/PCT experience preferred
