des fonctions corporatives actuarielles afin d’atteindre les objectifs du Service.
Principales fonctions :
- Est l’une des personnes clé dans la préparation et l’explication des états financiers sous IFRS 17 et autres rapports actuariels
- Assiste dans l’exercice mensuel d’évaluation USGAAP
- Valide les données utilisées dans les calculs actuariels et produit des rapports de vérification internes et externes
- Assiste dans la préparation du rapport de l’actuaire désigné et d’autres rapports réglementaires
- Supporte la production de projections financières et collabore dans l’analyse et la production de rapports
- Représente le département d’actuariat corporatif dans certaines initiatives
- Participe, à l’aide d’outils informatiques, à la préparation des calculs actuariels
- S’assure de l’intégrité des bases de données utilisées
- Maintient à jour les systèmes utilisés pour les calculs de projections
- Accomplis d’autres tâches assignées
Qualifications:
- Diplôme universitaire en actuariat ou en mathématiques
- Associé de l’Institut Canadien des Actuaires et/ou de la Société des Actuaires
- Forte connaissance et intérêt pour l’informatique et logiciels : MS Office, VBA, SQL, Oracle
- Minimum de 4 ans d’expérience professionnelle pertinente
- Bonne connaissance des logiciels AXIS et RiskIntegrity
- La connaissance des standards IFRS 17 et LDTI est un atout

- Excellentes habiletés pour les communications et les relations interpersonnelles
- Solide esprit technique et analytique
- Sens de l’organisation et de la minutie
La maîtrise du français et de l’anglais à l’oral comme à l’écrit est requise en raison de la nécessité de communiquer verbalement et par écrit avec les intervenants anglophones

Reporting to the IFRS Director and Actuary, Corporate Actuarial, the candidate assumes actuarial corporate duties in order to meet the departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be one of the key person in the preparation and explanation of the IFRS 17 financial statements and other actuarial reports
- Assist in the US GAAP monthly valuation exercise
- Validate the data used in the actuarial calculation and produce the external & internal verification reports
- Assist in the preparation of the actuarial report (Appointed Actuary Report) and other regulatory reports
- Support the production of financial projections and collaborate in the analysis and production of reports
- Represents the Corporate Actuarial department on certain projects
- Participate, by using software tools, in the preparation of the necessary actuarial evaluations
- Ensure the integrity of the databases used
- Maintain the systems up to date which serve for calculations and projections
Requirements:
- University degree in actuarial or in mathematics
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and/or Canadian Institute of Actuaries (ACIA)
- Strong knowledge and interest for computer & software skills, MS Office, VBA, SQL, Oracle
- Minimum of 4 years of related professional experience
- Good knowledge of the AXIS and RiskIntegrity software
- Knowledge of IFRS and LDTI standards, an asset

- Sense of organization and detailed-oriented
- Bilingual French/English (oral and written) is required given the need to communicate orally and in writing with English-speaking stakeholders

Compensation Range:
$90,600.00 - $113,250.00 AnnualBase pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
