Job Description
WinnCompanies is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will split your time between three affordable housing communities with a total of 125 units respectively: Rockland Elderly housing located in Roxbury, MA, Geneva Elderly Housing located in Dorchester, MA, and Mattapan Center for Life located in Mattapan, MA.
In this role, you will provide support to designated department with daily administrative procedures and special projects. The ideal candidate will also handle front desk phones and incoming traffic of residents and perspective residents.
Please note that the pay range for this position is $20.00 to $23.83 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, the selected candidate will typically work: Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
Provide office support, including: maintaining files, ordering office supplies, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and assisting with shipping.
Support team members with accurate, timely expense reports and detailed travel arrangements.
Handle mail distribution and assist with document preparation (scanning, emailing, copying, etc.)
Manage building access, employee badges, and onboarding support for new team members (both in-office and remote).
Obtain work orders from residents and documenting the work orders appropriately.
Assist with collecting documentation from residents for recertifications.
Greet visitors, answer phones, and make sure everyone who walks through our doors feels welcome.
Complete special projects as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1 year of relevant work experience.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
Basic familiarity with computer systems and web-based applications.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A welcoming, can-do attitude and a professional presence.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint and knowledge of OrgPlus 4.0.
