Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, prep areas, and storage areas
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper  portion control
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory
  • Responsible to prepare family meal on a daily basis
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a team environment

Qualifications

 

  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
  • Food handlers certification required
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
