Job Description
FLSA Status: Full-Time Exempt
Reports To: President
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department
- Evaluate systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed
- Maintain and write internal company policies and procedures regarding property, equipment, and facilities
- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
- Coordinate and conduct scheduled maintenance audits of equipment
- Assess building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules
- Develop maintenance procedures and schedules
- Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner
- Maintain the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment
- Research and cost compare new vendors for equipment, repairs, and building maintenance
- Provide recommendations for purchases of new equipment
- Maintain files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Assist with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects
- Organize and oversee the schedules and work of maintenance staff
- Conduct staff performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
- Perform other duties as assigned by executive management

- High School Diploma or GED
- At least five years of maintenance experience required
