What we want
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will conduct independent and collaborative research focused on esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and gastric cancer. The position will utilize genetically engineered mouse models, human and mouse organoid systems, and single-cell/spatial transcriptomic approaches. The individual will assist with experimental design, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and mentoring of trainees in the laboratory.

Location/Schedule: Bryan, TX/Full-Time; This position may require work on the weekends and/or after office hours.

Responsibilities
Research
Design and conduct experiments.
Perform data analysis and interpretation.
Develop and optimize research methodologies.
Prepare manuscripts & grant-related documents.
Laboratory Management
Maintain research records and databases.
Order and manage laboratory supplies.
Assist with laboratory organization and regulatory compliance.
Education
Mentor and supervise undergraduate students, graduate students, and other trainees.
Required Education and experience
Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with mouse models.
Experience with bioinformatic analysis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong scientific communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience with experimental design and data interpretation.
Knowledge of molecular biology techniques.
Experience with computational analysis of genomic datasets.
