Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project integration plans, timelines, status reporting and updates for executive management
- Evaluate and align CAPEX and integration roadmaps with overall company strategy, safety policies, and financial and operational performance expectations
- Drive change management efforts to ensure smooth transition for acquired and acquiring business and post-acquisition integration
- Perform risk-based analysis of alternative solutions for integration, while ensuring compliance with statutory and legal regulations
- Design scenarios based financial analysis for integration options and business case financial assessments for solutions, synergies and growth
- Partner with planning, operations and M&A teams to track and report capex spend, milestones and financial metrics associated with strategic growth projects and M&A
- Design effective processes and controls for ensuring accurate reporting and analysis for project authorization, approvals, and financial commitments
- Drive alignment across sectors to ensure consistent execution of capital and integration priorities
- Create and narrate clear, executive presentations that translate data into a storyline and actionable items for senior leadership
- Lead and influence cross functional teams without direct authority to ensure success of acquisitions and growth projects
- Manage development and roll out of the annual capex budget and mid-long term capital plan
- Model probability based growth project scenarios into financial forecasting models to be used for projections for reporting to Executive Team and the board
- Identify areas of opportunity including but not limited to synergies, value creation or cost reduction initiatives and people processes
- Act as strategic partner to SVP Planning and Head of Integration as relates to financial analysis and risk assessments
- Build and maintain relationships with external advisors and acquired company leadership
- Perform analysis for industry and competitor benchmarking to drive performance improvement and value creation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Management or related field
- 8+ years experience in corporate finance, planning or M&A integration
- Deep expertise in accounting principles, finance, and controls
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong ability to influence senior leadership and cross functional teams
- Experience preparing compelling and high impact executive presentations
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Proven ability to lead, manage and implement organizational change and lead organization- wide projects.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in analysis, reporting, and documentation.
Working Conditions
- Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
- Must wear protective equipment while at the location
Physical Requirements
- Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
