Job Description
Language Trainers provides individually-tailored language training on a one-on-one or small group basis
to busy people who need language skills for business, family and travel needs.
Language Trainers has a worldwide network of qualified and experienced native-speaking language teachers, from London to Lima. Our head office deals with administration, course development, academic support, and matching teachers with learners.
All of our experienced trainers are native speakers (or have a native-speaker level of the language taught) with appropriate teaching qualifications. They are locally based to reduce your expenses and travel time.
The directors of Language Trainers have worked at all levels in the language industry, from thousands of hours teaching to running schools. They are also dedicated language enthusiasts, speaking many languages between them.

Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. We might have a job for you as a European Portuguese teacher. One of our clients in Scottsdale would like to have one-to-one GENERAL European Portuguese classes.
Course details:
- Location: These students wish to have classes at their home in Scottsdale, 85253.
- Type of course: a 20-hour course.
- Preferred schedule: Classes of two hours should be held once per week (on weekdays except for Wednesdays between 1pm and 7pm)
- Student's current level: beginner
- Students' age: 15 and 17 years old.
- Time to start: ASAP
The ideal teacher should:
- Be a native European Portuguese speaker or hold a teaching degree.
Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
Hold a valid working visa.
Live within 20 miles of the client’s location.
Please note that the location and schedule may be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance, part-time position, and we are not able to sponsor visas.
