About the location:

A rare gem on Florida’s Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida, Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, is an exclusive collection of 156 luxurious beachfront private residences and a 222-room hotel all within a 125-acre walkable coastal village in the heart of Old Naples. Honoring local heritage and artfully reimagined for modern-day elegance, the resort includes residents-only facilities and amenities, a luxury spa and state-of-the-art well-being/fitness center, exquisite and diverse fine dining outlets, outdoor pursuits to include a tennis center, and an 18-hole golf course, bowling and movie theater experiences, and an exclusive private club. The first of its kind, the Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, is paradise found.

The Integrated Pest Technician plays a vital role in supporting the IPM Specialist and the safety through proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Best Management Practices (BMP)applications to the golf course. They will monitor and prevent disease, noxious weeds and pest activity with precision, care, and environmental responsibility and stewardship.  

In this role, you will implement programs under the direction of the IPM Specialist that will be preapproved by the Director of Golf Maintenance and the Superintendent, conduct daily routine inspections, apply sustainable treatment methods, and ensure compliance with local, state, federal and Four Seasons health and safety standards. You will work closely with the IPM Specialist to maintain a pristine environment and protect the guest experience.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience in pest control, environmental health, or an IPM-focused role preferred.  

  • Knowledge of BMP IPM principles and safe chemical handling practices.  

  • Preventative applications and scouting.  

  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.  

 

Main Responsibilities:  

  • Conduct routine daily golf course inspections scouting for disease, weeds or pests. 

  • Implement and maintain Integrated Pest Management procedures, focusing on prevention and safe targeted curative treatments.  

  • Respond quickly to pest-related applications and follow the label  

  • Ensure all treatments comply with regulatory and Four Seasons standards.  

  • Maintain safe pesticide handling, and preventive measures to support IPM goals.  

  • Ensure all recordkeeping is relayed to the IPM specialist at the end of everyday for recordkeeping. 

  • Address concerns professionally and escalate when appropriate through the chain of command.  

  • Walk Spray greens with tank mixtures including but not limited to fertilizer, fungicide and insecticide. 

  • Walk spread granular fertilizer weekly with a Lesco Spreader 

  • Hand pull weeds when necessary
