Director, OE Sales Commercial, APAC
Job Description
The Director OE Sales Commercial, APAC will define and lead the regional OE growth strategy, targeting leadership within premium brands and/or doubling SOM within five years, with full P\&L accountability.
Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Shape and translate global OE strategy into a differentiated regional roadmap, aligning market positioning, customer segmentation, and portfolio priorities to deliver AOP targets (volume, price, mix, EBIT, cash)
- Own and strategically develop global and regional OEM partnerships, influencing long-term platform allocation, co-development opportunities, and share of wallet
- Drive sustainable profitable growth, leading pricing strategy, margin expansion, pipeline quality, and robust forecasting discipline
- Build and lead a high-performing OE organization, strengthening strategic capabilities across account management, engineering, and quality, and fostering a performance-driven culture
- Elevate strategic key account management, embedding long-term value creation, program lifecycle optimization, and disciplined capital allocation
- Lead OE innovation and technology strategy, securing a competitive development pipeline and maximizing OE-to-replacement pull-through and brand positioning
- Ensure best-in-class commercial execution, embedding global sales processes, governance, and cross-functional alignment (Product, Pricing, Marketing, Finance)
- Anticipate and shape market evolution, identifying disruptive trends, technologies, and partnership models to sustain competitive advantage
- Act as a key contributor to the global OE leadership team, driving strategic alignment and leveraging synergies across regions (EU, NA, LA, AP)
Key Experience
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of senior sales leadership experience, with a preference of field sales experience and multidisciplinary experience.
- Deep understanding of automotive industry and multi-country business operations
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work with cultures across different regions
- Proven track record in building high-performance teams and delivering results
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel frequently
