The role:
In this role, you hold a strategic position at the heart of the EMEA financial governance and performance, as Head of EMEA Treasury and manager of a team of 11 treasury professionals. Acting as a key partner to both local and Global Finance leadership, you actively contribute to securing, optimising and anticipating the region’s financial balance, while ensuring day‑to‑day operational excellence.
At the crossroads of financial strategy, system transformation and operational flows, you oversee all matters related to cash management, financing, capital structure, liquidity steering and payments, within a complex, highly international, exigent and fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
Cash Management, Banking Rationalisation & Treasury Systems:
You lead cash management activities across all EMEA entities building strong relationships and collaboration with our Core Banks with a strong focus on banking rationalisation and optimisation of the banking landscape. You design and implement the EMEA liquidity structure, ensuring the efficiency of cash pooling arrangements (physical and notional), the security of cash flows and the standardisation of treasury practices. You are accountable for the deployment, enhancement and use of the Treasury Management System (TMS), ensuring data reliability, process automation and high‑quality treasury reporting, in close coordination with local Finance teams and Global Treasury, as well as for managing the corporate card portfolio and overseeing expense reporting through the Concur system. Eventually, you assess EMEA FX exposure to identify potential hedging risks.
Corporate Finance, Capital Structure & Cash Forecasting:
You oversee Corporate Finance and capital structure matters across the EMEA perimeter, including the implementation and monitoring of internal financing and supporting Global Treasury in the implementation of external financing, as well as balance‑sheet optimisation (dividend distributions, capital increases, compliance with thin‑capitalisation rules). In parallel, you ensure the robustness, accuracy and consistency of short‑, medium‑ and long‑term cash flow forecasts. You actively engage with country CFOs & local finance teams to support liquidity steering, enhance forward‑looking visibility and contribute to key financial and strategic decision‑making.
Payments, Acquiring, Tax‑free Solutions & Retail Procedures:
You ensure the effective operation of payment solutions, acquiring systems and tax‑free processes across all EMEA boutiques and e-commerce to enhance client experience. Working closely with Global Treasury, you contribute to the selection and deployment of treasury and payment solutions and to the definition and implementation of treasury payment and tax refund related processes. You are responsible, in full compliance with internal and regulatory requirements, for drafting, updating, training and ensuring proper application of payment and tax refund procedures in stores.
Team Leadership, Partners & Employee Savings:
You lead, develop and engage the EMEA Treasury team, fostering hard and soft skills development and strong collaboration across Finance functions. In close partnership with Global Treasury leadership, you manage relationships with external partners (banks, acquiring and tax‑free providers) and participate in contract negotiations. You also support the Europe CFO, the Global Head of Treasury & HR teams in the selection and monitoring of Employee Savings and Retirement Schemes, ensuring proper governance, allocation of assets and performance oversight.
Technical requirements:
Demonstrated expertise in cash and liquidity management, including cash forecasting and intercompany financing.
In-depth knowledge of banking and cash management services, ensuring adherence to best practices.
At least 10 years of experience in treasury operations within an international corporate setting.
Affinity for technology and automation to drive efficiency in treasury processes.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, for effective global communication.
Fluency in French is a clear plus.
